Comfort First
Gentle direction, real conversation and enough time to settle in. Nobody photographs well while being barked at.
Home / About
The photographer behind the camera, the studio on Burnsed Boulevard, and the reason every session starts with a conversation.
Hello There
I am Anette, and I have been making portraits long enough to know that the picture is never really about the camera. It is about whether the person in front of it feels at ease. Everything I do in a session is built around that one thing.
Photography by Anette works out of Studio 302 at 2518 Burnsed Boulevard in The Villages, Florida, and on location throughout Central Florida. I photograph portraits and headshots, families and seniors, weddings and elopements, community and corporate events, small business branding, and property interiors.
My style is classic and clean. I light gently, I edit with a light hand, and I do not chase whatever filter is popular this year, because trends age badly and your family photos should not. Skin looks like skin. Colors look like the room you were in. In twenty years the images will still look right, which is the whole point of hiring a photographer instead of a phone.
The other half of the job is logistics, and I take that seriously too. You get a styling guide before the session, a plan for the location and light, a clear timeline, and a gallery delivered when I promised it. Easy and classy means the experience, not just the photographs.
How I Work
Gentle direction, real conversation and enough time to settle in. Nobody photographs well while being barked at.
True color, natural skin tones and a light retouching hand. Your gallery will not look dated in five years.
Styling guides, location scouting and written timelines. You always know what happens next.
Promised turnaround dates, kept. A preview set arrives within days so you never wonder how it went.
The Studio
Studio 302 is set up for portraits, headshots and small family groups, with controlled light, a few backdrop options and a comfortable place to change and get ready. It is private, air conditioned and blissfully free of the wind that ruins hair at three in the afternoon.
That said, some of my favorite images are made outdoors, in a garden, at a favorite bench, or in a home that means something to the family. We will choose based on the look you want and the time of day that gives us the best light.
