Prices listed are starting rates and may change based on session length, location, travel and the number of people photographed. Your written quote confirms the final price before you book.
What Shapes The Price
Why one session costs more than another
Two sessions of the same length can price differently, and it is never arbitrary. These are the factors that actually move the number, and most of them are yours to decide.
- Time on camera. Longer sessions mean more coverage and considerably more editing afterward.
- Number of people. Larger groups need more setups, more combinations and more retouching time.
- Locations. A second or third location adds travel, setup and light assessment time.
- Editing depth. Standard editing is included. Deeper retouching is priced per image.
- Travel. Within 30 miles of The Villages is included, and mileage applies beyond that.
- Date. Holidays, Sundays and peak fall dates carry a surcharge because they book out fastest.
- Usage. Personal use is included. Commercial and advertising usage is licensed separately.

Booking & Payment
Pricing questions
What do I pay to book?
A signed agreement and a retainer reserve your date. For portrait and family sessions the retainer is typically 50 percent, and for weddings it is $500. The retainer applies toward your total and the balance is due before your gallery is delivered.
Are digital files included?
Yes. Every collection includes high resolution downloads in your private gallery, plus a personal print release. You never pay twice for the images from your own session.
Do you offer payment plans?
For weddings and larger collections, yes. We can split the balance into scheduled payments before the wedding date. Just ask when you book.
Is sales tax included?
Prices shown do not include Florida sales tax where it applies. Your written quote shows the full amount before you commit to anything.
What is your cancellation policy?
Retainers hold your date and are non refundable, because that date is turned away from other clients. Sessions may be rescheduled once with reasonable notice, subject to availability. Weather reschedules for outdoor sessions are free.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes, seasonally. Short themed mini sessions are announced on Facebook and to the email list a few times a year, usually in the fall and around the holidays.
Can I license images for advertising?
Yes. Personal use is included with every session. Commercial and advertising usage is licensed separately and priced by scope. See the copyright and licensing page for details.
